Image engine for WordPress & WooCommerce
Quick images.
Generated on demand.
ImagePipe transforms your product visuals into JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF when the browser requests them, caches them permanently, and automatically serves the lightest format the visitor can display, without rebuilding your themes or catalog.
Heavy images slow down your shop
Unoptimized high-resolution photos degrade the LCP (main visual display time) and drive away an impatient mobile visitor. Manually re-exporting them with each catalog update takes a time that no one has.
A shop, agency, or more
Whether you run a single WooCommerce store or more for customers, ImagePipe adapts to the number of sites you activate.
Nothing is generated until anything is requested
No miniature to pre-calculate at installation, no disk space wasted on never used sizes.
Request
A page loads an image to a given size, mode and format.
Checking cache
If this version already exists, it is served immediately, no calculation.
Generation & optimization
Otherwise: resize, EXIF correction, compression and conversion from the original.
Permanent cache
The result is saved once for all the following queries.
Le bon format, la bonne taille, à chaque fois
Format negotiation is automatic, and five resizing modes (Fit, Cover, Crop, Contain, Stretch) cover each theme location, no additional theme-side code line.
WebP & AVIF formats
The lightest format used automatically depending on the browser.
Watermark & multi-store
Visual mark and independent settings per shop, in Pro and above.
Clearly lighter files
A high-resolution JPEG product photo of the order of 2 Mo, once served in AVIF by ImagePipe to the size actually displayed on the product sheet, usually weighs several times less weight with equivalent visual quality, without any manual retouching being required.
